This page and the one that follows were something I decided to do very late, for a variety of reasons, but mostly just to give the reader some measure of closure on Justice Theta. You may remember that the last time we saw the kid with the teddy bear he mentioned something about looking for his toy box. The toy box is a direct reference to a story written by a good friend of mine, Chuck Kennedy, called “The Toybox” oddly enough. I tossed it in there as a nod to Chuck, not only for his steadfast support of the team as we wrangled this whole mess together, but also because good friends are hard to find, and I figured he’d get a kick out of it.
The dialog here pretty much sums up Justice Theta as succinctly as I can imagine. Careful observers will note that in the previous “In Between” sequence he was still in his uniform, whereas now he’s dressed in a simple civilian attire. There might be something to all that. Just saying.
