The last panel here just freaks me out every single time I see it. Imagine had the guy come to this sort of mental state and not been dying? What might he have done the world over? And more importantly, would that be a world we’d want to live in? Yikes. Dark stuff without a doubt, but I told you we might deal with some pretty dark themes when we got started here.
I also like that we get to see at least some of the scope of destruction they’ve caused with this battle as well. The edge of town donnybrook has spilled over a bit it would seem.
