2008 Friends of Lulu Award Winners
Friends of Lulu is a national nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote and encourage female readership and participation in the comic book industry.
The Friends of Lulu website (www.friends-lulu.org) is reporting that the 2008 Lulu Awards went off without a hitch at the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art last night and they thanked the following sponsors...
"MoCCA, DC, IDW, Archie, Forbidden Planet for donating bags, O’Brien’s Tavern, David Gallaher for his hors d’ oeuvre expertise, the volunteers of the Friends of Lulu New York Chapter and of MoCCA for all their hard work, and so many unsung heroes that stepped in last minute to lend a hand in a moment of need!"
