SALVAGED Surfaces at Heroes Con!

Salvaged: The Complete Unit Primes Collection debuts in Charlotte.

Salvaged: The Complete Unit Primes Collection will make it's first appearance at Heroes Con in Charlotte, NC the weekend of June 4-6. Released from Transfuzion Publishing, the collection compiles the two previous books of Unit Prime from Chris Dreier, Jacob Paplhan, Federico Zumel, and Guiseppe D'Elia into one single entity.

Salvaged is an epic adventure about a man's thankless quest to stop the mysterious killing machines known as the unit primes. The first story focuses on L-Bee, a young boy who survives the destruction of his planet by a unit prime, only to find himself aboard a space freighter of aliens banded together by their desire to stop the unit primes at any cost. The second story catches up with L-Bee twenty-some years later. L-Bee, now the captain of his own freighter, still lives under the shadow cast by the unit primes. His obsession only grows stronger when he stumbles across a deactivated prime at an intergalactic junkyard. With the deactivated prime in tow, L-Bee makes it his mission to find out the prime's origins and what exactly makes it tick. Unfortunately for him, he may be doomed to repeat his past.

Publisher Gary Reed said that the book would not be available through the comic distribution network handled by Diamond Comics as it is a collection of two recent graphic novels. "You have to be realistic in what is going to make the minimums with Diamond. That's no reflection on the material as we all know there are some incredible works by many talented creators that don't make the minimum." Reed said the book would be available via Amazon and other online sellers in addition to Haven Distributors as "Haven carries ALL the Transfuzion material". It is also on the Transfuzion website for ordering.

Salvaged is 150 page trade paperback in black and white. $16.99 ISBN: 978-0982654-9-03
