A Word From One of the Creators

From the desk of Eric Ratcliffe

So we go double header for you guys this week with slightly golden age feel. Loosely inspired by the co features of old and even the co features happening now. But the real story is that Bill got inspired by a now infamous thread over on theouthousers.com.

House of J now going under a username I wont mention brought up that Bill could be interesting on his own and well this came of that. I thought it was fun, poor Bill being shot down by the audience. They love me, they really love me. ;)

Of course my strip was a bit more of a cartoon thing, which I enjoyed writing. Anytime I can throw in a Doctor Who reference is awesome. Especially due to the fact that the 10th Doctor and I share a pair of glasses. (look it up, it's the same pair. I remember seeing it and being pretty shocked and happy. David Tennant was a fun Doctor. Loving Matt Smith so far)

Also the modified GL costume is pretty awesome, though comic me without my glasses looks odd to me. Oh, and before I get emails or snide comments, I don't honestly believe in the Morrison thing. I very recently read some old school Claremont and it was awesome. I wish he still wrote like that today. I love Morrison's New X-Men run but Claremont certainly led the way for that stuff and the stuff today. That man will always be the best X-Men writer, hands down.

Now next week, join us as Bill finally surprises Eric by doing something he'd never expect. (So weird talking about myself in 3rd person) We'll see you in 7!
