MegaCon 2010 Hub
Since 1993, the Mega Convention, aka MegaCon, has been the premier comics and sci-fi convention in the Central Florida area. Starting as a small local convention, the event has grown to be attended by over 20,000 people each year. Once owned by now defunct Florida-based Crossgen Comics, the convention is now owned and ran by Beth Widera, who has grown the con notably over the past several years.
This year's guests include the likes of Dan Didio, Jimmy Palmiotti, Justin Gray, Amanda Conner, George Perez, Greg Land, Greg Horn, Adam Hughes, Mike McKone, Ethan Van Sciver, Tony Bedard, Chuck Dixon, Nichelle Nichols, Lea Thompson, James Hong, Brent Spiner, Ray Park, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and many more.
