Wild Wolf Award Winners Announced
Wild Wolf Entertainment LLC announces today they winners of the first annual Wild Wolf Award are Ron Fortier and Rob Davis for the graphic novel Daughter of Dracula
The Wild Wolf Award is a internal company award given to the author(s) of the top selling book of the given year (in this case 2009) as a way to give back to the authors for their contribution to Wild Wolf's Publishing.
Wild Wolf Managing-Member J. Sean Collins had this to say about the award
" The Wild Wolf Award come about as a way for us to give recognition to those authors who's work as captured the public and produced the highest sales, we also like the idea of using the award as a way of fostering friendly competition between our authors and given them a little bit of incentive to really push their books hard for the bragging right (laughs)"
Ron Fortier (writer of Daughter of Dracula and one of the award winners) had this to say....
"I woke up the other morning to find out that our graphic novel Daughter of Dracula had won the first annual Wild Wolf Award for best selling title of 2009, wow what a way to start the year off. I sincerely want to thank Sean Collins, head of Wild Wolf Ent., for his faith in Rob, I and the book. For wanting to take it on and help get it out to a much wider audience then our first self publishing limits. He has been a major supporter of the book and its success is due in large part to that faith. Rob and I want to thank Sean, Wild Wolf Entertainment and everyone out there who bought a copy of Daughter of Dracula for making this possible. We are truly, truly happy and humbled by all this."
