Jim Valentino to be Featured Guest
at Gem City Comic Con 2010
Guardians of Galaxy junkies unite! The man that both wrote and drew the popular series back in the nineties while at Marvel Comics will be the featured guest this coming spring at the always impressive and entertaining Gem City Comic Con ....April 11th 2010 in Dayton Ohio.
In the troubled time that comic collectors and fans refer to as "90's Comics" Valentino's work on the Guardians of the Galaxy was the exception to the rule of all fluff no merit, gimmick comics that flooded the market.
Of course Jim would also go on to create one of the best characters for Image Comics during the founding of that company...that character being of course Shadow Hawk!
Jesse Noble and Bill Thade, the organizers of Gem City has always pulled out all the stops when it comes to having high quality guest at the show and Jim is the latest in a list of such talents that already include the likes of Michael Golden, Frank Brunner, Marv Wolfman, Billy Tan, Chris Claremont, and Don Kramer.

It's the usual creative team and those same two guys you've come to love up to no good at the Gem City show (and don't be surprised if one of them is dressed up like Yondu).
