I should really change that, but it sounds sooo cool. From the esk to "From the laptop" what do you guys think?
Anyways, Strip #16, which is part 3 of Grand Theft Batmobile, things get a little more interesting. I do have a confession to make here: if you are trying to make something funny...stop. It needs to be natural when you're writing, which I found out the hard way when I first started writing this arc. You cannot force humor, otherwise it will fall flat.
If anyone knows a [costume designer] that's willing to do some pro bono work, I think it would be hysterical for Bill and I to actually appear at a con in these very costumes. I doubt it would actually happen, but I think it would be fun.
That first panel was my favorite thing. I had to have comic me do something incredibly nerdy because he is driving in the batmobile, so that's where the original '60s series themesong came from. Then of course that last panel I was trying to hit home that even when they are having fun together, Bil and Eric will always find themselves getting into trouble.
Next week...what happens to our dynamic duo when they are pulled over? Does Batman ever get the batmobile back, and what happened to Eric's slushy?! Find out in 7!
