My friends, the Avengers are BACK and if you didn't step up to the plate and grab this home run of a comic, you were missing out on grade A superhero action when it comes to Mighty Avengers #30.

After many months of Dark Avengers, Normal Osborne and Dark Reign, I couldn't believe how exciting it felt to see this team of teams begin to fall back into place and lay the seeds for the team of tomorrow. It was a read I found myself welcoming. In fact, in this issue Jarvis sheds a tear and utters the words "It's been a long time". Yes, it has and I was with him in spirit for this homecoming of Marvels mightiest heroes. That moment in the issue resonates.

Here, the Avengers gather, they joke and Henry Pyn finds himself named Earth's Scientist Supreme by no less than the cosmic entity Eternity. In the issue, you actually see Eternity get into a fist fight and have one of the slickest verbal exchanges with a superhero I've seen in years. How could you not love this kind of cosmic goodness. I know I did.

Let me stress those words one more time... Eternity in a fist fight! All I have to say is excelsior baby!! Okay, that and you should grab this one and enjoy, you will not be disappointed.
