A Word From One of the Creators

I'd like to start this week off by saying thank you to Jef Price who is now
running the strip in all its glory over on
Necessary Cool, which is a website
that is a friend of ComicRelated.com. I say thank you to
Jef for both
syndicating us as well as getting the attention of Marvel's biggest editor, Tom Breevort.
That's right ladies and gentleman, the man in charge of the Avengers books likes
New Comic Day. Pretty awesome if you ask me.
So this week's strip has Bill running scared. Comic me with a crossbow? We all
saw what he did with that katana didn't we? So can't really fault comic Bill
there. Mostly a site gag, this strip actually came to mind while I was reading
Jim McCann's New Avengers: The Reunion.
I think I managed to make Bill laugh pretty hard with it and it's the first time
we reference a previous strip to show a little bit of continuity. As of this
week's strip, we are around 75 fully scripted strips so Bill and I keep churning
idea after idea out.
Oh, and as promised, next week join us here for the start of the biggest thing
we've done yet. As I've affectionately named it "Grand Theft Batmobile!" Oh yes,
it's probably exactly what you think it is; some of you have already viewed the
preview image I have floating around as my avatar. So we'll see you in 7!
