The Genuine Imitation Jonesing Bogart Library!
by Art Bowshier
Strong women in comics were appearing since Wonder Woman, Miss Fury, The Phantom Lady and others. Lady Luck was a staple of Quality Comics in the 40s and early 50s. She had her own book and was feature in the Spirit Sections--Will Eisner's Sunday newspaper insert comic book. Here's another Public Domain tale that may be funny to wrestling fans!

I remember someone once told me that Captain Marvel had a wrestling story. Maybe this tale was a short trend. Writers and artists still read competitors books, today. And, it didn't have a gorilla on the cover!!!
