This week we've crammed the podcast full to the brim. Aimee and I discuss Warmer Brothers announcement that the Justice League movie will be in theaters the same year that Avengers 2 hits the big screens in Deal With it. Then we tackle this weeks books, pick a Rockin' Comic of the Week, and nominate a couple of Honorable Mentions (one has to do with the Spooky Month! Yay for Halloween!) Aimee's Awesome features her look at a trade from Dark Horse that will be out in December. And in this week's Whatever, I had the opportunity to talk with Shawn Alleyne about his new Kickstarter project, Aizan.

And let me indulge myself for just a moment if I may. Shawn Alleyne is someone who you may never have heard of before. And that's fine. There are tons of great artists out there, you can't possible know them all. But Shawn is one of those guys who make me like comics. Not only is he a super talented artists, he's a genuinely nice guy. While I give plenty of my comic book love to the big guys, I have always had a soft spot in my nerd heart for the independent creator. You can't beat the enthusiasm of someone who is out there creating, drawing, writing, sweating, promoting, and just plain doing it to make their vision see the light of day. Shawn is one of those guys, and even if you have never heard of him or seen his work before, I highly encourage you to check out his Kickstarter project Aizan.
