Love and Rockets Goes Digital

The Hernandez Bros. ground breaking series Love and Rockets will go digital as part of its 30th anniversary thanks to a new deal between Fantagraphics and ComiXology.

The first four of the Hernandez Brothers' acclaimed Love and Rockets: New Stories issues have been made available.

Issue #5 of the series will make a same-day print and digital debut on its release date in September. It will be followed by a range of new and backlist Fantagraphics titles going digital.

"Fantagraphics Books is one of the longest running, independent comic publishers around with an incredible array of titles," said comiXology co-founder and CEO David Steinberger.

"I've been chasing them for three years to be a part of our platform and am thrilled not only to bring their books to the digital world, but also to be a part of celebrating the 30th anniversary of Love and Rockets.

"I've long been a fan of the Hernandez Brothers' work, and couldn't think of a better way to kick off our new relationship with Fantagraphics. There are many happy people in the comiXology offices today."
