Comic Related... Let's Disqus
Today was a very big day for Comic Related as we took our concept of community and allowed it to move outside our forum and run free across the entire face of our website. Every story posted since we relaunched Comic Related last year is now opened so you can post your thoughts, share your comments and let us know what you have to say!
Comic Related has always been more about comic fans and creators coming together than anything else and thanks to a nice mix of help from Eric Adams and his company Turnstyle Creative, we have a solid mix of new features to share with you. Now, the conversation is free to go where it will thanks to Disqus. Located at the bottom of any post, the commenting tool we've selected is one of the most open ended discussion systems available today. Why is it so easy? If you're logged into either Twitter or Facebook, you can post away without any extra registration. Here's how it works...
- If you are a Facebook user, this is the icon for you. Click it, log in if needed and you are in business. Your facebook ID and graphic will be integrated with your posts and you can even share your comments in your personal feed back on your facebook profile (complete with story link) if you like without ever leaving the page you're reading.
- Do you live on twitter? We have you covered! Just click on the Twitter icon, connect your feed and you are logged in here and ready to post. Want all your twitter followers to know what you're talking about on Comic Related. Just click the checkbox and you can automatically share your comment (and story link) in your feed. Tweeting about Comic Related, what could be better?
- Want the full meal deal? Create a free account with Disqus and you can take your comments anywhere. Disqus respects the commenter and knows that many times the comments you share are as important as the content you are commenting on. Disqus allows you to build a reputation as a commenter, organize your comments across websites, edit and share a common presence for yourself across the multitude of sites using the Disqus service.
Three ways to play and two of the three already maintain some of the largest user bases on the internet. So what are you waiting for? Click around, share your thoughts and join us in with us as we celebrate a very Comic Related world!
