MegaCon 2012 is just around the corner - are you ready?
The Southeast's premier comic/media convention is nearly here, and this year there's more being offered than ever before! Fans of all ages, from comics to science fiction to anime to just about anything you can image, are sure to find something to excite them!

The Big Man himself, Stan Lee, returns to MegaCon this year, and a limited number of attendees will have an opportunity to be a part of the STAN LEE VIP EXPERIENCE. These packages are available on Saturday, February 18th and Sunday, February 19th only. This limited edition VIP package includes two (2) autograph tickets, a professional photo op with Mr. Lee (of which you will receive an 8X10 copy), a collectible VIP badge, preferred panel seating, and a very special collectible item only VIP attendees will receive! These packages are very close to selling out, so if you want one, you'd better not wait!
Stan Lee isn't the only comic book legend to be attending MegaCon this year. Comic greats Sheldon Moldoff and Allen Bellman, as well as Nick Cardy will be there, along with current superstars George Perez, Darwyn Cooke, Chuck Dixon, Dan Jurgens, Tim Sale, Bill Sienkiewicz, Jimmy Palmiotti, Amanda Conner, Brian Stelfreeze, and many others. Fans of DC Comics will be thrilled to know that DC Co-Publisher, Dan Didio, is returning to the show!
Of course, there will be plenty of buzz over in Artist Alley, where a number of up and coming creators will be strutting their stuff. From Scott Ethan Ambruson to Scott Blair; from Mark Dos Santos to Mark Mekkes; from Marvie Fish to Derrick Fish; from Steve Conley to Steven Mangold. No matter what your taste, you'll have no problem finding it over in Artist Alley!
But that's not all! Over in the celebrity circle, fans can meet Vampire Diaries stars, David Anders, Lauren Cohan, and Joseph Morgan; Stargate fans can meet Tony Amendola, Paul McGillion, and Corin Nemec; while Babylon 5 fans will have the chance to meet Bruce Boxleitner, Stephen Furst, and Peter Jurasik. A gathering of Warehouse 13 stars will also be present, with Tia Carrere, Eddie McClintock, and Saul Rubinek scheduled. There will also be a scattering of Star Trek and Star Wars actors, anime voice actors, and a few Ghost Hunters thrown in just for fun! Oh, and lest we forget, Tom Felton of Harry Potter and Rise of the Planet of the Apes will be there!
