Believe in Angels

Do you believe in Angels? Well, C.L Dawes does and he can prove that there are angels on Earth. Dawes, a native of New York who came to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry as an actor and model, developed a comic book idea called Ecclesiates: Mistress of Souls. He developed the concept idea based on his childhood of religious and biblical influences and to address an assembly (ecclesia). During Dawes' childhood, he encountered a series of emotionally difficult times with his family, including his own mother. Dawes spent most of his childhood watching his mother go through physical abuse from Dawes' father. To ignore his pain, Dawes quickly developed a love for drawing and art and he created a world of his own. Like every other child, Dawes watched his favorite superhero cartoons from Batman to Superman, he fell into a world superhero comic books and never looked back.

Dawes' inspiration for Ecclesiates came from his mother, who he watched her become a strong woman while raise her children and dealing with an abusive husband. He believed that his mother was his Angel that not only watched over him and his siblings, but made sure he becomes a great man to others in the world. The story of Ecclesiates takes place in New Orleans, Louisiana and Ecclesiates must restore the legendary garden of eden while battling three dark forces, Peille Bleu, Ramsanai and Nephedrah. Ecclesiates helps mankind redeem their souls by exposing them to dark forces that have influenced and compel man to do dark things. When she kills a demon or helped mankind redeem their soul, somewhere in the world, a child is healed from their sickness or wound. Ecclesiates is a guardian angel and she posses many powers such as supernatural strength, and she has a silver whip tipped with three red rubies which is used to penetrate and extract the demons and dark spirits. The whip never hurts a human but it can penetrate the soul of a human being. Her wings can span three major cities. The book is published by Rose Dog Books, a Pennsylvania company that is very excited to know that the book will be released at Barnes & Noble's website and Amazon. The book will be released on November 7, 2011 and the author is currently working on several film projects slated for next year.
