DC Entertainment and Cartoon Network have teamed up to bring more original DC programming to the television network in 2012.

In addition to Green Lantern: The Animated Series, launching in January, and new episodes of Young Justice, DC adds to those in rolling out a full DC Nation block of programming.

This programming includes news bits, set visits, short interviews or promos by celebrities, and most importantly, a lot of creative little shorts. The shorts contain the likes of Lego Batman, Teen Titans Go!, Plastic Man, live action featurettes and much more.

It's unclear whether these shorts will take place within a program, or if they will be shorts between other shows. But given the content itself, it's just cool to know more DC animated content is coming to your television in 2012.
