Chuck Moore
The New - and once again - owner of ComicRelated.com

It may come as a surprise to you, but doing a comic news and information website in today's world can be a tremendous amount of work. The expectations set by a 24 hour a day traditional news cycle makes any attempt to succeed in this game a very tricky task. As someone who has been playing in this arena for over seven years, I'd hazard a guess that even those of you who think you understand the dedication it takes might still be a bit surprised.

My good friend Robert W. Hickey found himself in that very situation as Comic Related began to consume his time, his energy and his life over the last two months. He is an amazing individual and he worked hard to make Comic Related fit within his life, but when running the site threatened to come at the expense of time with his family, a decision had to be made and last night he made it.

Despite the full sale and transfer of ownership of Comic Related on September 7th, last night he gave me back the entire website, no strings attached. More than anything, Robert wanted to see the site succeed and the wide number of commitments within his own life made it clear that was going to be a hard if not impossible road. I utterly respect his decision.

So...

For about 15 hours, I was the sole individual owner of this fine, fine website. I hope my friends won't think poorly of me regifting, but this morning that is exactly what I did. John Wilson and Brant Fowler have been KEY to the survival of Comic Related over the last few years and they deserve their chance to make a real run at this website. That said, I've taken the time given me to reflect on things in my own life and I'm pleased to say "we're getting the band back together"!

I'm pleased to announce that Brant Fowler, Chuck Moore and John Wilson are now the proud co-owners of Comic Related. I'm very willing to jump back into the site and work toward its success, but I would not try it alone and I'm pleased beyond words to have John and Brant at my side. Together we'll do our best to shepherd and build a home that everyone can enjoy and uphold the proud tradition set over the last seven years.

The three returning owners back in 2009

THE BOYS ARE BACK!
Cheers!!
