Marvel Comics has confirmed a forthcoming Man-Thing graphic novel that began as a project by artist Kevin Nowlan and the late Steve Gerber in the '80s under the title 'Screenplay of the Living Dead Man, which was left uncompleted.

Marvel editor-in-chief Axel Alonso revealed last week that a Man-Thing project is on the way. "All I can say is we do have a Man-Thing project coming out soon that is older than some of Marvel's assistant editors and well worth the wait," he said in an interview.

Nowlan has been working on the 62-page, painted story in his spare time since Gerber's death in 2008.

This week also saw the release of the long-awaited New Teen Titans: Games graphic novel by 80's creative team Marv Wolfman and George Perez.
