PORTRAIT OF AN ARTIST
Up-and-coming New York City based photographer Kelsey Bennett will be unveiling her most recent collection of stills at the Morrison Hotel Gallery on September 20th.
The night will coincide with the release of Tony's album 'Duets II', featuring duets with fellow icons such as Aretha Franklin, Lady Gaga, Willie Nelson, K.D Lang and the late Amy Winehouse.
As well as featuring iconic portraits of Bennett with each of his duet partners, the exhibition will give the viewer an intimate glimpse into the life of Tony Bennett on the road, recording, painting, as well as visiting his ancestral town of Calabria in Italy. This astoundingly intimate collection of photographs reveal a family's dedication to a life immersed in art. With a striking inimitable style, Kelsey's work reveals a side to these artists that are often unseen. A warmth and ease that only stands as a true testament to her grandfather and Kelsey as a photographer.
